GM has created a one-off, special edition version of its Corvette ZR1 that will be raffled along with a fully restored 1967 'Vette at the end of the year in the "Win The Vette's Corvette Dream Giveaway" with all proceeds going to the Kids Wish Network, a charitable organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children facing life-threatening illnesses. Dubbed "Hero Edition", the special edition ZR1 comes with red accents, special graphics and additional carbon fiber components.
Other than that, there are no differences between the special edition model and the stock ZR1 that is equipped with an Eaton supercharged LS9 V8 with 640 horsepower that launches the top-'Vette from zero to 60mph (96km/h) in 3.4 seconds.
